In addition, great importance is attached to purity. Unpleasant body odors are therefore an absolute taboo subject in Asia. Because guests take off their shoes out of respect for the host and sit directly on the floor for a tea ceremony, foot odor in particular can lead to unpleasant moments.
The tradition of cinnamon insoles emerged from this custom. I dealt intensively with these fragrant shoe insoles very early on, because my family has been trading in cinnamon insoles since 1995 and exports them to well-known supermarket chains in Eastern Europe.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”29808″ img_size=”600×300″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner content_placement=”middle” et_uniqid=”et_custom_uniqid_5e984c390ae66″][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”29806″ img_size=”600×300″ alignment=”center”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]I came to Germany from Vietnam in 2000 because of my German studies. After about 2 years the idea arose to tackle the problem with foot odor in Germany as well and to provide the appropriate solution with immediate effect. Fortunately, I had already gained my first knowledge of import and export while working for my family’s company, and I was very proud of my new business idea. My entire environment in Germany was not very optimistic at the time – “The Germans and cinnamon insoles, that can’t work!” True to the motto: “What the farmer doesn’t know – he doesn’t eat!”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner content_placement=”middle” et_uniqid=”et_custom_uniqid_5e9855e2c47c3″][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Despite all the skepticism, I had my family send me around 200 pairs of cinnamon insoles in 2002 and started selling them in Germany with a small business. After a few months I could already see the positive response and the demand has been rising steadily to this day. So after a few years I was able to increase the import of cinnamon insoles from Vietnam from a thousand to tens of thousands of pairs. Back then, in 1995, a small factory with around 12 Seamstresses needed.
